In a noteworthy rebound, the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) showed resilience, gaining 540.88 points and closing at 82,565.26 points, marking a 0.66% increase. Banking stocks spearheaded this bullish run, with FBNH, GTCO, UBA, and ZENITHBANK posting significant gains, contributing to a positive market breadth of 48 gainers against 22 losers.

The market witnessed a notable uptick in equities, adding N314 billion to the market capitalization, which closed at N45.199 trillion, up from the previous day's N44.885 trillion. Despite a decline in trading volume by 46.5% to 877.28 million units, and a 43.2% decrease in trading value to N14.41 billion, the market indices remained resilient.
